All of the exterior is original with the exception of the front door which was a great salvage find, and the master bath rebuild in the back of the house. We love cedar shake around here and were excited to stain it this dark, rich green with dark purple doors for contrast. All of the trim is

Original to the Home:
All of the windows and doors, including the pocket doors and swing door, are original along with their hardware. The beautiful hardwood floors are also original including the living room and dining room floors which are a skinny oak, not found as often. While most of the trim had been removed in the house, we were able to use what was left to replicate including having the crown molding for the doors and windows custom made at the local mill to match the original.

Checkerboard Wood Floors
The original floors in the kitchen were unable to be saved so we installed new pine floors. To try something new we stained the floors in this fun checkerboard pattern using HGSW Coriander & Olive and SW Amazing Gray
MASTER BEDROOM

Original Features:
The floors in the master bedroom were carefully removed, set aside, and then reinstalled after the floor joists, subfloor, and one sill were repaired - no easy task. The team carefully reinstalled the floors we saved from the bedroom along with what was left of the original kitchen floors and once sanded, they look beautiful. Old houses often times present great challenges to restore them thoughtfully but our team thinks it's worth the extra effort.
MASTER BATHROOM

Rebuild:
We very seldom tear down and rebuild but that is what was required for this bathroom. Unfortunately it was damaged beyond repair so we salvaged some of the beadboard and then started from scratching using the same footprint. We worked hard to replicate the trim for the rest of the house and used vintage tile patterns to give it an old house feel.
