POCKET DOOR BATHROOM

My clients desperately needed a more functional bathroom upstairs that would work well for their older, and very tall kids because the small corner tub simply wasn't cutting it.  Because of the windows in the room, we had to get creative which is where the pocket door came in. By creating a partial wall on one side and the pocket door wall on the opposite we were able to create a place for a tub/shower and a private toilet closet. We also were able to use one of the original doors as the pocket door.  From there we used classic design elements like white subway tile with gray grout and the black and white mosaic tile which gives a nod to the period of the house.  They now have a beautifully refreshed bathroom that works well for their busy family.
