WILLISTON RENO: MASTER BATH & LAUNDRY
We had the opportunity to work on this beautiful Craftsman home in Converse Heights by completely renovating the dated kitchen and laundry room, and reconfiguring a former sunroom and bath addition into a luxurious master bath retreat. The goal was to make the spaces look authentic and timeless to honor the age of the home and we certainly achieved that by using time period finishes.

MASTER BATH RENOVATION
The two rooms off of the master bedroom has been altered over the years making you scratch your head as to what the current function of the former sunroom should be. My clients were using it as a makeshift closet but with so much wasted space, they wanted something different. So, we claimed that space along with the adjoining but dated bathroom and a linen closet off of the laundry room to create this luxurious master bath. The new lay-out showcases a beautiful soaking tub and double vanity in the larger room and a gorgeous walk-in shower and toilet room for privacy with a walk-in closet accessible through the pocket door. We love the feel of this room and love the way it turned out.

LAUNDRY RENOVATION
While the laundry room didn't undergo any major demolition, there were two changes that made a big difference. First, we tore out the drop down ceiling which revealed the original beadboard from a former porch. My clients are old house enthusiasts so it was very important to them to keep this original detail in tact so we salvaged what we could, add new or reclaimed as needed, and then painted all of it a bright white which looks beautiful and brightens up this entryway. Secondly, we removed the linoleum that was covering up the original hardwood floors. My miracle working hardwood floor refinishers restored the floors to their original glory. From there we simply painted the walls a fresh coat of paint and my clients added new appliances with cabinets and butcher block countertops.
